Completions happen whether you're ready or not. How you relate to them shapes how you participate in the ongoing mystery of life.
At the Threshold of Dissolution
An embodied exploration of saṃhāra — dissolution as one of Śiva's five acts
With Guest Teacher Neesha Zollinger
Early Bird Price: $27In the Tantric understanding, saṃhāra—dissolution or reabsorption—is one of the five acts of Śiva: the return of manifest form into its source. This act isn’t confined to the end of physical life. It is present throughout life: in the completion of a breath, the vanishing of a thought, the shifting of bodily sensation… and the ending of a chapter of life.
Many of us meet endings by bracing, grasping, distracting ourselves, or immediately reaching for what comes next. We may know intellectually that change is inevitable while still finding it difficult to remain present when something familiar is no longer available to us.
Endings aren’t always obvious. Becoming more attuned to the felt sense of completion can help us recognize when something is changing, when a cycle has run its course, and when we are standing at the edge of what comes next.
This isn’t a workshop in grief work or “letting go,” and it doesn’t romanticize or treat dissolution as easy, pleasant, or spiritually tidy. It’s an embodied exploration of the Tantric understanding of dissolution: an opportunity to become more intimate with the endings that continually shape—and are woven into—the texture of life.
Inside this workshop you'll...
- Notice how endings are experienced in the body—the subtle ways we brace, grasp, speed up, check out, or reach toward what comes next
- Explore the charged space between what has ended and what has not yet begun, without rushing to fill it
- Encounter saṃhāra as a direct experience: dissolution and reabsorption felt through movement, breath, sensation, and awareness
- Attend to the completion of a cycle before attention moves toward the next beginning
- Develop a more refined capacity to recognize when something is completing, changing, or ready to give way to what comes next

At The Threshold of Dissolution
An embodied exploration of saṃhāra — dissolution as one of Śiva's five acts
Meet Your Teacher
Hi, I'm Neesha Zollinger. The relationship between Tantric philosophy and embodied experience has been central to my work for more than two decades. I’m especially interested in what happens when teachings about life, change, and dissolution are not only understood intellectually, but felt directly through movement, sensation, breath, and attention.
I’ve been teaching yoga since 1999 and exploring movement for more than 30 years, first as a professional dancer and later as an E-RYT 500, certified Anusara® instructor, and Franklin Method Fascia Trainer. My study of Tantra began in 2000 and has continued through years of practice and study with teachers including Paul Muller-Ortega, Sally Kempton, Christopher Wallis, and Lisa Engles-Witter. Throughout that time, I’ve continually woven Tantric philosophy into āsana, movement, meditation, and embodied inquiry.
What draws me to the topic of saṃhāra is its intimacy with ordinary life. Dissolution is always present—in the body, in experience, and in the cycles we move through again and again. This workshop brings together the two streams I have spent much of my life exploring: Tantric teachings and the body as a direct pathway into them. I’d love for you to join me in exploring how this teaching comes alive through the body.
